Ben Simmons ain't a rookie. NBA awards 2 weeks after the Finals are over is dumb.

Oscar got the NBA Lifetime Achievement award.
 
The NBA says Simmons is a rookie, they've had it that way all year. No need to cry about it anymore.
Also, all along, we were told that Simmons was going to get the ROY, and Harden the MVP, and that's the way it happened.

Honestly, I really don't care if Simmons was a rookie or that he got consideration for ROY. Michael Carter Williams got ROY a few years back and is barely hanging on to stay in the league. Nice award for Ben, he deserved it and fit the criteria of the ROY award.
