Final Comments:
We have a lot of veteran players, with a ton of experience. 4-year starters: Ava Davanzo 1st, Alaina Johnston RF, 3-year starters: Mackenzi Gamble P, Caitlyn Pleska SS, Maryn Hepler 3rd, Cameron Perkins C, Ella Dota 2nd, 2-year starters: Ana Yonker LF, 1st year: Landry Smith CF. We return our workhorse pitcher Mackenzi Gamble, who was fantastic last year. She has power stuff with 157ks in 89 innings last year. She also hit 7 hr and drove in 39 rbi. Caitlynn Pleska has had a historic start to her Clipper career. In 44 career games, she has a staggering 88 hits, 91 RBIs, and 73 runs scored while hitting at a .629/.638/1.235 clip. Our infield is full of returning starters, but our outfield has two newcomers in new positions, with a couple of girls potentially battling for at-bats and playing time in senior Maria Malcomson and freshman Kyla Hogan. We expect to compete for our 3rd consecutive outright conference championship and a deep playoff run.
