SI publishes a column on how Clemson has a significant Christian angle in its Football Program: https://www.si.com/college-football/2019/09/04/clemson-dabo-swinney-religion-culture

Can't say that baptisms after football practice are something you see at too many programs. I guess it is OK but as a public institution I am not so sure it is very kosher; then again Dabo seems to play by his own rules. Maybe Jesus told him it was OK to have his players take PEDs and plead ignorance?

I think the exercise of preseason polling is completely useless and simply intorduces bias into a flawed system. I don't know why the CFP poll isn't the first of the season, when a reasonable assessment of a teams strength can be made.

You mean you don't think 6 of the top 12 are from the same conference?

That’s a lot of sappy bs.

I don't want to call religion a gimmick but...

I always laugh when people buy into all of these dumb gimmicks and slogans ("Row The Boat" )

It is all BS. The most talented and prepared team wins National Titles with a heavy emphasis on talent.

It's also a recruiting gimmick. Convincing parents their kid will be taken care of because the coach is a man of god. Ignore the part where multiple players were caught pumping themselves full of steroids last season under Dabo's watchful eye.
