China Jerseys

Eezy as 123

Like Sunday Morning
Anyone ever thought about buying a jersey from one of those Chinese websites? I've seen on TV that people were doing it all the time and they were legit jerseys. I even had multiple guys at work tell me they have as well. And none of them had a complaint.

Well, I went ahead and ordered my two sons a jersey each for Christmas from www.chinajerseys.us.com. They were $18 and $21 plus shipping, which made it $67 altogether. They were the real deal stitched-on jerseys with all the logos and tags. They even had real photos of their jerseys on manikans instead of photos taken from nflshop.com or something. So I went ahead and took my chance at it. It's only $67. A lot to gain, and hardly nothing to lose.

A week or two goes by and everything went well until I tracked my package and seen it had been sitting at a sorting facility in Chicago for over a week. My wife gave them a call while I was at work and she said that the US Border Patrol had seized the package and will be sending us a letter in the mail warning us of doing this. And if we do it again, they will take legal action. They said that they had 80+ jerseys seized within the past month. Just at that sorting facility in Chicago. They said it is illegal for China to sell those jerseys with all the trademark logos on them (of course). But since it's China, the US can't do nothing about it except seize packages. Every one of those people have not received a refund back from that website. They also said that some of those people had their bank accounts charged by that website as well. For no reason.

So beware. There's a bunch of those Chinese websites out there.

Bought a Marco Reus green Germany away jersey for $20, and it made it through customs. I think it was from Taiwan, and like a week later I went back to the guy's Amazon page and it had been deleted

Got my jersey though, so all is good.

My parents bought me a Podolski Germany jersey from a sketch Chinese site because that was the only place they could find it before he blew up in popularity. Shipped through like Taiwan or The Philippines or Indonesia. Super cheap. Ended up being the nicest jersey I ever got. Even had a free badge on it (euro 06? Or something like that)

My brother has gotten a couple BPL jerseys through China. Surprisingly no issues.

I am really hesitant to risk on stuff like this but I have had good experiences. Plus there aren't really any good sellers in the us..... HUGE untapped import market.
. I search google for seller reviews before I throw my credit card out there.

RE: The feds... Screw em. They are broke. They don't have any money in the treasury to go after consumers importing $20 jerseys.

I know a couple who hand delivered invites to a Christmas party. USPS mailed them a nice warning letter stating its illegal to personally deliver mail in mail boxes. He framed that.

I see these jerseys (primarily soccer) sold all over the place in Queens.

Let me take a look here...

Definitely gonna get...

-a #10 Benzema France jersey
-a #10 Dzeko Man City jersey
-a #10 Ibrahimovic PSG long sleeves jersey

I bought my Bernie Kosar and Braxton Miller jersies from a chinese outlet for 27 a piece. They are pretty legit quality, I was definitely pleased for the price.

Bought my nephew a Derek Jeter Yankee jersey online from China I think and although it took like 3 weeks I got it and it looked really good! This was like 5 years ago though!

I'm not sure why they would.

Ha, well I woke up this morning and found a package on my porch. It was the two jerseys. I'm now confused but happy. The jerseys are both perfect and look great. I may purchase more in the future. :D

I bought some car flags for my son's college at one of those China websites. Price was right, flags are great and free market lives on. :D

Do you guys think that they just told my wife all that just because they don't like people who order stuff from those websites or what? Do you think it's safe to do it again? I never got that letter in the mail or anything.

I don't know Eazy, it sounds to me that you are on the NSA hit list.

got in on a group order two weeks ago from one of those websites and our jerseys all got held up in customs in Chicago but all were released and delivered on Christmas Eve.
only complaint is that the NFL Elite 'replicas' run a tad small...still look legit, though.

Yup. Same exact thing happened to me. Chicago and all. You think it's safe to do it again? You think they just held them to make sure it wasn't some type of terrorist threat?

So the Chinese can disregard American "trademarked" products and profit greatly, yet an American who violates a trademarked product will be penalized and you guys are all for that ? This helps China profit by ripping off American ideas. As the communist say, a capitalist will buy his own noose to hang himself with.

They are all made in China anyway. I think the NFL will survive.

I would not be at all surprised to find out that these jerseys were made with the same programs, with materials from the same suppliers, by the same people, even on the same machines. They may even make more money at the bargain basement price without the NFL between them and the consumer.

I would think this even more likely in the case of the seized packages.
