Canton McKinley vs. Canton South

I very much miss this storied rivalry this was more intense fun than playing Massillon in Football.
I think that now they should consider scheduling each other again and play at Canton South instead of going to the civic center for their home game.
I think that it would have a different look and feel now but would not hurt.
Canton South has a brand new school and venue now why not showcase it as it is very beautiful.

That was a great rivalry back in the day...from south’s big upset in 65...the big fight at south in 64...the tip-in by bo-peep in 64 district final..on and on...red ash vs. bup rearick and rupert....they should try to revive it...

I agree 100%. By the way I don't want to hijack the topic but another one I wish was still played is the second Massillon game. For years this game was played twice a season. Wish it still was.

As great as it would be to revive the rivalry.... i don’t know if CS wants to put McKinley on their schedule anytime soon

I agree Caleb..even though I hated playing there, the Pit at Massillon made for a crazy atmosphere.
