We are going down there next weekend for 16U. Any opinions on this tournament? We've heard good things from a couple other teams but curious what others on here think.
 
 
Its been a while but the last time we played in it it was run well and had good competition. They get a decent amount of college coaches mostly NAIA and DIII. Not sure what the weather looks like but the turf fields will drain the teams as the surface gets hot so make sure the players hydrate the days leading up to the tournament. One knock was the crime with cars getting broke into at the fields and at the hotels off of stringtown road.
 
I think CPD may have upped their patrols. There is some added fencing along 71 from when my oldest started playing there. Apparently cars used to stop on 71 then smash and grab. The competition should be pretty good with quite a few out of town teams. There will be college coaches there as some do wander from Stingrays.
 
We're here now for the all-star games. Not too many people here but it will be alot busier tomorrow for the regular games.
 
Good first day except for someone stealing a chair. Not sure what type of person steals a chair or what they could possibly get out of it.
