Ashland scrimmage

 
Interesting, I still haven't heard anything about the scrimmage today. Once I do I'll pass it along.
 
I know the scrimmage was supposed to start at 6:00. I couldn't be there at that time because my kid had football practice. I went by the stadium after my kid's practice to see what was going on. The was about 8:00 and everyone was gone or at least off the field.
 
From what I read in the paper both Kostelnik & Foote saw time at QB. They combined to go 15-17, so thats pretty good. Foote had 2 td passes. Kostelnik didn't have any TD's but did well running the ball as well as passing. Hertler was said to be complimentary of senior Kyle Adams' work at RB. Official score of the 1's was 2-0 Hoover. Ashland is a quality team, a D2 playoff team a year ago. Win or lose really doesn't matter in scrimmages, but Hoover appeared to play well, which is always good.

They scrimmage WGH on friday @ the Mem at 6pm, should be fun.
