From what I read in the paper both Kostelnik & Foote saw time at QB. They combined to go 15-17, so thats pretty good. Foote had 2 td passes. Kostelnik didn't have any TD's but did well running the ball as well as passing. Hertler was said to be complimentary of senior Kyle Adams' work at RB. Official score of the 1's was 2-0 Hoover. Ashland is a quality team, a D2 playoff team a year ago. Win or lose really doesn't matter in scrimmages, but Hoover appeared to play well, which is always good.
They scrimmage WGH on friday @ the Mem at 6pm, should be fun.
