Are you a true West Sider??

Skyline is building another location in Miamitown. I know westsiders refuse to eat any other chili, but it seems like they're on the verge of oversaturation around here. The Cleves' and Dent locations are less than 10 minutes away. Harrison maybe a minute or two farther.

Where in the world are they putting it in Miamitown? I’m kind of surprised they are getting one.

They have started construction on a Panda Express in the Meijer parking lot. Not in the outlet which would make sense… right in the middle of the lot near the Tesla hookups.

Details regarding the apartments in the big project in Delhi behind Wild Mikes.
Geez, the 2 bedroom price is more than what we paid for a very nice and, at the time, new apartment downtown near the casino in 2018. I think they're gonna find quickly that they might have trouble filling these because those prices for an apartment in Delhi where there's not much to do. If they want those filled, better get to work quickly on making Delhi more entertaining.

And why rent when you can buy cheaper than those prices in Delhi?

I could see students at MSJ utilizing those apartments though, cheaper than dorming.

I'm sure it is. That's a lot of apartments for a school that small.

Hats off Delhi for actually trying something out of the box and something that's not storage or fast food.

Absolutely anything is better than empty buildings.
I was thinking, after you said that, maybe they’re expecting enrollment to balloon? Because that seems like a lot of units for a small school and some of those students rent houses and what not around the area

Folks. these apartments are not just for Mt St Joe students, they are for anyone that wants to rent them. Delhi is trying to attract young
professionals who work downtown and want to live close to downtown. Also for older people that want to give up their home, but want to stay in Delhi. A lot of false onformation is out there about these apartments.

I wouldn’t call it false information. It’s just speculation. No reason to get upset.

Nobody said they were for MSJ students.

What was said was it could be a target clientele and / or would appeal to college students.

I dont know any older person that wants to sell their house to then rent.... that wouldn't be a smart financial decision at all.

Look, I’m very familiar with Delhi and young professionals given the field I work in, and I can’t imagine why many would want to live there. It’s not a knock, but it’s not really a spot for people in that phase of their lives

I tend to agree. And how many young professionals can afford those prices?

Most younger white collar workers I know are under paid and have mounds of student loan debt, a car payment they can't actually afford, and crippling credit card debt.

But again, hopefully it will kick off a revitalization of sorts...... as I already said, anything better than empty dilapidated retail buildings.

Definitely agree and appreciate the township's efforts to revitalizing the area. Think their best bet for young professionals is going to be those who are looking for cheaper than downtown prices who are maybe from out of town and need a place to live when moving here. I think the ones entering the workforce who are from the area and are considering living in Delhi would just as soon live with their parents (if possible) to help save money and pay off loans.

The drive thru at the Western Hills Chick-fil-A will be re-worked again along with a 428 square foot expansion of the building and an expansion of the outdoor seating area.

Also, the Marathon at the old Five Points in Green Township is proposing to add a Dunkin’ location.

Instead of reworking it again, they need to just build another location on Harrison Ave, maybe next to the new hotel. Or speaking of that, hopefully City BBQ reconsiders since they're expanding that parking lot.

Chic-fil-a is like Starbucks. Their parking lots are never large enough. Expanding the building will make the lot even smaller.
