I actually think a lot of the CHL is down though. Taylor is up for sure, but Wyoming is slightly down, Indian Hill is kind of who they always are, and the rest of the league isn't great.

I am only speaking on what I have seen with my eyes. If you’re telling me Wyoming is the best team in the CHL. Which record wise they won the league and ran the table. They weren’t very good. As said above this alter team going into this week has been very limited offensively but they lit up the best team in the CHL.

If we are judging leagues based on their top team, then I guess the GCL coed wasn't that good this year either.

Competitive balance is a fact of life in the GCLC. If you are getting that many players from outside your area, you should be able to beat Mt. Healthy. CHL ranges from D4 to D6, but Wyoming is usually the only team still playing this week.

Expecting an Alter Taft rematch in the finals. I assume it will be a closer game than their week 3 matchup. Was anyone at that game and have an idea how a rematch could go?

Wyoming down bc their best offensive player went down. Don't know if the alter score would have been different BUT wouldn't have been blanked.

Madeira record didn't show it but they may have had the 2 largest "upsets" of the CHL or key wins in Batavia and Williamsburg.

Don't you have to define "area"? The GCLC has kids that come from 15-20 minutes away to attend their schools. It is not unusual, with Wyoming being a possible exception, for public school students to travel the same distance and/or time as those students attending GCLC schools. Plus, don't most districts now have open enrollment? Why is it that the non-publics have to have their student-athletes sit out the 2nd half of the season when the publics don't? Seems unfair. Congrats to Wyoming on a great season.

I am pretty sure OHSAA Rules applies to both public and priviate.

I didn't say it was? (But you are comparing teams in different divisions as well)

BUT I can't recall the last time 2 CHL teams were in a regional semi final? (Maybe it's been more recent than I think? )
