Central to what? And put games on Fridays too? No thanksI say, why not? It's a nice, centrally located facility close to some great restaurants and bars.

Agree. I'm a bit biased as I grew up in parma. But, you know with 2 city schools now, you should normally have all day Saturday. Also, free parking and less than 5 min walk tops. I also love sitting about 3/4;up and the field viewByers, despite its flaws was fine.
Games at Wasmer are nice but limited. ( and that embarrassment against Pitt Central Catholic didn’t help)
Further ... Scott Mutryn led Ignatius to state championships in 1992 and 1993 + was 2nd team all-Ohio both seasons. He played QB at Boston College and signed as an undrafted FA with the New England Patriots, but did not make the final roster.A little news I found out today regarding Scott Mutryn 's family. For you youngsters, Mutryn was our QB back in the 90s on the teams that really kept the state championships rolling. I think he played with Haddad and many other stars of days gone by.
Anyway, I follow hockey pretty closely and he has two sons who play (not sure about the third) at a very high level. One is committed to BC and the other just made the NTDP (US national team for 17 and 18U players - the real cream of the crop).
I was pleasantly surprised and thought I'd share.
I haven't looked at Forge schedule dates yet, but based on Normandy, Mentor and Eds are possible Byers, unless Forge is there on mentor fridayFridays at multiple locations, including, possibly, Byers. That would be my guess.
lol afraid to schedule div 2 teams nowNot happy Hoban is still on the schedule. The games the past 2 years haven’t been competitive at all. Would rather see a bye.
Looks like a lot of losses again this season.
Teams probably scared by his lack of top level athleticism, but he played Big Ten football and played it well. Will be interesting to watch him at the next level.Tommy Eichenberg to Raiders.
Wasmer is not an option due to construction. The spring teams have been occasionally using Brooklyn and the fb team has used it in the past. Maybe Brooklyn is in the discussion. If Friday is still in the mix I don't see how this goes other than playing at a handful of "home" stadiums throughout the year. Wasmer, Byers, Fairview, Euclid, Lakewood even? It's very bizarre how it's playing out.

When will they stop playing the Canadian team? Better to have a bye and have another week to recover from the brutal schedule than to play a meaningless tenth game.
Just as a team establishes a routine when it plays on the same home field and gets to know everything about the venue, so too do the fans. They establish favorite places to eat, routes to the stadium, distance and time, etc. With Franzinger's insistence on playing on Fridays, that "comfort" has been taken away and every game seems like an away game. Where is the game this week? JCU? BW? Byers? Might as well just stay at home and watch SIBN. Down goes the already dwindling attendance.
Normally, I would agree with you. However, considering the ridiculous schedule and the total lack of any games that could be considered a " break," having the last week before playoffs free to heal and regroup might be better time served than playing a game that means nothing, unless they play the players who did not get a chance to play during the year. If you're going to play a tenth game, play one that might make a difference, not schedule an exhibition every year.Really? Take away 10% of regular season. These kids want to play games. Not have a bye! Can’t even fathom someone wanting to take away a game. Only guaranteed 10 games to begin with.
Of all the sports, this sport has the fewest games. And you purposely want them to take away a game? You’re a real competitor
Take a bye! lol
Ignatius has struggled against North a few times and even lost, but I would be open to having week 10 open.Normally, I would agree with you.
