2023-24 Federal League Baseball

Jackson's game with GlenOak was cancelled, unsure if it will be rescheduled as today was already the postponed date.

Jackson has the pitching to make a run, offense needs to keep producing. Not afraid to play small ball. Will bunt and push runners across any time 1-9 in line up!

Looks like Hoover or Jackson are the best teams so far in the Federal League so far.
Who do you think are the next best?
Bottom tier?

Agreed. Baseball is unlike any other sport. Bats go cold for a week and you can lose 3 or 4 in a row without trying.

McKinley has done surprisingly well this year, winning 1/2 against Green and beating a slumping Massillon team 4-1. They have won 4 games in a row.
Shout out to McKinley staff and players, we played them in a non-league game a few weeks ago, miserable conditions at Munson, had to stop for snow flurries at one point, one of our pitchers had a freak/traumatic arm injury late in the game had to be carried off and taken to hospital. Somehow snapped the bone in his upper arm. Staff and players helped take care of him and I believe sent him a gift of some sort in the week that followed. Terrible luck for a great kid, also was just coming off shoulder surgery in the off-season, wishing him the best, but class act from McKinely for sure.

It’s hard to say how good the Fed is this season with so much parity so far.
Jackson has the probably has the best win so far against St Ignatius. The Fed has done well against the other big Stark County schools, 1-1 against Louisville, 1-0 against Alliance, and 3-0 against Massillon.
