Whitmer 50-34 over Lima
Central 59 ND 52. First half blow out. ND clawed back and made it interesting.
CC’s bench is not nearly as talented as their starters. I’m not talking about Dames or Hitt-Swartz, or even Farrugia when they put her in. They have some talent in there that will for sure develop and mesh together with the starters as they get more minutes, but that needs to happen sooner than later.

Yeah. I saw they put Johnson in and ND went on a 7-0 run to close the half. Dames drove for a runner at decent speed and then looked like she was having a lot of trouble getting back on defense.

Whitmer Vs Central tonight. I’d take Central by 11
Notre Dame vs Findlay. I’d take ND by 10
Ross Vs Clay. I’d take Ross by 42

We will see. That ND-Findlay game is a huge as far as District seeding goes!

There is some stat embellishing going on. On one hand it’s one of my favorite opponents to watch play, but on the other hand it’s getting old seeing a kid had 18 rebounds every game and then when you scout and get all the HUDL assist video back and they have her down for 10 or 11. I want her to be All State. But not at the sake of cheating and embarrassing yourself as a coach when someone sees the ridiculous inflation you are doing on a nightly basis.

Vaughn?

Edit: Not to play devils advocate (CC player or not), but how did you find this out? Is it the full Hudl tape or just select highlights that you get from scouting? Is it another coach who has it marked down or the players coach?

I don’t doubt there’s been dishonesty with stats around the area (especially with EC), just would like some insight as a spectator.

Teams (usually opponents of teams we have coming up) send us their full HUDL tapes. We send them off to HUDL Assist. I can click on a players FGs it will show me every FG that player took. I can click on REB, it will show video of every rebound they had. Turnovers, etc. Or I can just look at the numbers, Shot charts you name it. Our own game there was a 7 rebound disparity.

Does HUDL automatically tag these or is it the coaches themselves tagging it as a specific event? If the latter, yeesh.

No HUDL has an assist staff that does it for you. It’s a tape breakdown service that I’m guessing most every team pays for. Every once in awhile, it will mix up a girl if she has a pony tail blocking her number and has a number similar 10..40.. but it tells you to identify the unknown player and it updates the stats accordingly after you do that.

Sounds like a really close game. Were you there? Did West Branch really only have 13 turnovers against ND? ND creates havoc, rotates so well and forces you to speed up so much that sounds like an incredibly low number against them.

Official number had West Branch for 13 turnovers. I had them for 14.
