We are finishing up edits on our website for the upcoming summer tournament July 9-11 for both Men's and Women's high school teams. The registration tab is open and ready for teams to get in. The tournament will still be held at the (relatively) new Warren County Sports Park in Southwest Ohio. Teams typically get four or five games during the weekend. Take a look... click here for the tournament website . We would love to see you there!

Here is an updated flyer with easy QR code access. Keep those registrations rolling in!

Great to see that HS events are just like club events in that it has nothing to do with the kids and everything to do with money.
What the hell are you talking about? These preseason showcase events are very helpful to HS teams during preseason. It's a great chance to play against a number of other teams before you get to August tryouts/practices.

eat rocks old man. This “showcase” cancelled more than half their games and didn’t give teams refunds. All about the money.

Warren County kept asking for delay, after delay, after delay. And guess why? Because they would have to give money back if they canceled, pro rata, but Mason finally had to make the call because you can't delay forever. I was there on Saturday during the absolute deluge and I 100% agree there needed to be a little delay to allow puddles to sink, particularly around the hot spots - D's, O and RW and LW. But the games should have went on for 1PM and later starts. The games on turf went on as scheduled. We got in 2 full games and 1/2 of another so not too bad.

I was there as well and it was a truly bizarre situation...it rained (update to Warren County: soccer is played in the rain...all over the world...like football ...unless there is lightning) and then stopped...a short delay was called for..no doubt. The county was overly concerned about turf damage. Yes, turf will get damaged but that is the risk you take when you take large sums of money to host a tournament. This is not my first weird postponement there...happened in May as well. I hope the people of Mason soccer move the venue...it is a nice facility but it becomes irrelevant when games can’t occur which seems to be the case a bit of the time. A smart thing would be to rotate fields used each season...of course that means less fields, teams and $$ but it keeps the fields in good shape.

So we can’t play anywhere when it rains? ?..It rains a-lot here so...I guess...NO SOUP FOR YOU....NEXT!
