2021 Lake Blue Streaks

 
I believe that Lake is the smallest school in the Fed by a pretty significant margin. They will continue to be a 500 team for the foreseeable future in that league.
 
I had heard Sophomore QB and a couple strong running backs. Was hoping they would get back to what made them successful in the past.
 
What’s their non-conference schedule look like? I remember going to some games when durbin was in his prime, those teams played good old fashioned smash mouth football.
 
They play Alliance, Louisville, Akron East, and Maple Heights for the non-conference schedule this year.

Is the roster available anywhere? fridaynightohio.com seems to be folded into cantonrep.com (subscribers only). It's not on bluestreaksathletics.com, yet. And, it didn't have height/weight last year either. If anyone that maintains lakebluestreaksfootball.com reads this, can you throw one up when it becomes available?

LakeBluestreaksfootball.com switched to a Historical/Records and only Varsity football site a couple years ago when the BlueStreaksAthletics.com site launched. As the BSA site was going to be the source for "current" information (Rosters, Schedules, Directions, Photos, etc.) since that made more sense, since it is maintained by the Athletic department which has the latest/correct info.

Guessing due to the switch in the Athletic director they are just getting up to speed and behind in keeping the site updated.

Anyways, I threw the 2021 Varsity Football Roster on LakeBlueStreaksFootball.com for anyone who wants it.

Once again LakeBlueStreaksFootball.com be providing the StatBroadcast Live Stats feed for all of the games so you can follow along when not at the game or to get up to the minute stats throughout the game while in the stadium.

Lake Varsity won the scrimmage 14-7 in 2 quarters of game like conditions. St. V. was starting to play better in the second quarter. Could have been anyone's game if the played the final 2 quarters i think. I hope the running back #22 is OK. The was carried off the field with a leg injury. Anyone have an update on his injury? He is going to be a good back for Lake.

Overall they did not look to bad. The defense is quick this year from what I saw. Lake has a fairly large turnout this year with around 70 boys or so.

The Freshmen handled St. V convincingly. I believe Lake scored at least 3 times to none.

All Lake fall indoor and outdoor sports are full open, but that is subject to change hourly.

Lake Local Schools Sports Ticketing​

  • There will be no cash sales at the gates for any events.
  • Credit/Debit cards can be used at the gate but fans are encouraged to purchase on line before arriving.
  • All tickets for events at Lake will need to be purchased online.
  • Visit www.bluestreaksathletics.com/event-tickets
  • All varsity tickets are $7 and 9th and middle school events are $5.
  • Online tickets are listed at $6 and $4 to cover the $1 convenience fee for our fans.
  • Discounted student passes will be sold online.
  • Senior citizen passes are still valid and district residents 65 and over can receive their pass by contacting the athletic department.
  • FANtastic passes are no longer sold but old passes will be honored until they expire.

The offense was surprisingly better than I thought they would be. Considering they are a young team. I was impressed with the young qb Jarvis making his 1st start. He couldn't have played any better than he did. Hopefully he continues to get better each week. Solberger was outstanding, Brady as well. The Sophomore Doane was impressive in limited action as well at rb. I thought the line did well. It was alittle sloppy, but Alliance wasn't that bad either,despite the score.

Defensive looked great against the run. Davis had no chance of getting many yds tonight. They look like your typical lake team against the pass tonight. They gave up yds ,but they they stopped them when they had to.

The only real disappointing thing of the night was the senior Abdul missing a 27 yd fg.The kid has leg.

As young as they are they will get even better.

Awesome to hear!! Maybe with the federal league seeming to be very down, they could make a surprise run! From some of the pictures I saw, it seems like they have a ton of kids out for football this year.
