Pretty funny that ESPN is devouring itself. Yes, Stephen A. is correct on a certain level. It's the same as other sports who has international players. Dirk Nowitski would had been wildly more popular if he was American, and he did speak good English. Stephen A has since backpedaled and now Jeff Passan, a baseball writer is ripping into Stephen A. Now Passan is saying something to the effect that Ohtani left his country to come here for the dream of playing baseball. I'll say that's partly correct, he's also getting paid alot to play baseball here.
