Unless 2 piece uniforms cover less skin, wouldn't they be about the same amount of material? With two pieces, there might even be more weight due to more seams.

I just weighed a variety of singlets, and they are about .3 or .4 on average.

When I read the rule changes last night I almost looked up what the lightest singlet available was. Figured I'd wait till it got closer to season. Glad I don't have to worry about weight cutting coaching the kindergartners.

I wouldn’t want to wrestle in it but it works out great for weigh ins. My son loves his.
