What matchup would you want to see of the teams that are here that isn't a game?
 
 
For the last several years, I could have given you an informed response. No longer. I just don't know where to go anymore to get team results. Very disappointing, and it's diminished my interest in the CitC.
 
I will be making my first visit to this facility and will be looking forward to seeing the North Canton Hoover Vikings play Lakota West.

Maxpreps does a good job.
 
1ofthe6, reports are TJ finally got the Classic on Facebook... And I don't recall the name of the group, but a media group out of holmes county does great preview work, covers the event, does interviews with players and coaches, etc

Thanks, I found it on Facebook, but there's nothing there at all. Only a link to the website, which has only the teams and schedule.
 
The holmes ticket website up a few posts is where the videos were in previous years and there wouldn't be a lot on the site yet since it hasn't happened yet? In years past, the website has had pretty timely scoring updates.

My original post referred to the difficulty I'm having in finding regular season results on the teams prior to the classic. I like to see who has lived up to their billing and who has stumbled. Who has played who. All of that. That's what I find to be impossible to do this year since MaxPreps no longer seems to be in vogue.
 
In most cases, I believe you can find team results during the regular season by visiting the web sites of the desired individual schools.
 
Fort Loramie - West brnch

How good is west branch?
I truly do feel Loramie could be in the mix of the top 10 in the state. they took a loss already to a team they should beat . With out a doubt they have the most talent and depth as any d4 or d3 school in the state. And one of the top players in all of d4 and d3.

West Branch is a junior-dominated team with the reigning NBC Player of the Year, whom has already committed to Youngstown State University.

gmi4dad, to add on to 111411, The seniors that start for West Branch have stepped up as of late. Linhart has been playing really well as of late, and Hahn can play well and hit 3's at any given time as well. Coach DeShields doesn't shy away from playing a lot of his bench players to create more depth without much drop off in production on the court, when tournament time comes around.

Is this coach DeShields related to the former volleyball coach at Louisville?
 
No one posted the dates, which are January 18-20, 2014.

The quality of teams is outstanding, and many of the match ups look to be close games.
 
1ofthe6, I obviously misunderstood, my apologies. Having one site that covers all those teams is gonna be a tough find...i'll try and round up some info tomorrow and if everyone adds what they know, I'm sure we can get a good season summary for most :cool:

Here's the preview videos for the CITC. The website is being updated further as days go on. I think the stats deadline for the teams was this past weekend so I'm sure they're putting together all the game/program info.

Also, while I don't know the actual ranking, Regis Jesuit is ranked in the top ten nationally. Anyone who saw what they did to a very good McKinley team last year can vouch for how impressive that team is.
