2012 Big East Tournament • Madison Square Garden

There were 3 close games yesterday. Not sure what more you could ask for.

Yeah, with a total of 3 OT's... If the games that went OT didn't invlove USF and UC and were replaced with Pitt and Nova people would be talking about how great a day yesterday was.

The UC game was the best game of the day but to be honest, if UC was not playing Syracuse tonight, I would not watch. There are just not the elite teams and incredible talent that we have seen in years past. Notre Dame and UL will probably be a good game but is not must see tv like past years. The only reason Syracuse loses is if they just do not care or come out to play, which could easily happen as they know they are a 1 seed. In years past, there were 3 or 4 great teams that could win it.

ESPN actually did hype up the UC/Georgetown game a little bit. They led Sportscenter this morning with highlights of that game, and it was on the front page of espn.com most of the day until Northwestern lost. But you are right that it didn't get the same amount of talk as it would have if UC was replaced by one of the more traditional BE teams.
