Consistent, especially when over the years, St. Paul and Monroeville (especially in Ringholz years) took the press.Ashland Crestview Cougars (2000-2020)
142 - 78 Overall (65% wins)
97 - 48 Firelands Conference Record (66%)
Playoffs- 2000, 2001, 2004, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2019 & 2020
And to think, Archbold and Wauseon reside in your neck of the woods not to mention Bryan had solid squads as well.Since 2000 Liberty Center is 170-64(72%) and Patrick Henry is 189-62(75%)
Liberty Center and Patrick Henry, rivals only 15 miles apart are consistently 2 of the smallest schools in the NWOAL but have won the league 14 times in that span and knocked each other out of the playoffs 4 times.
Welcome aboard.I've been a lurker here for a while, but this topic really interested me, so I created an account to post this:

A couple interesting notes:
-The peak was clearly 2006 to 2012. 6 regional finals in 7 years with one trip to State in 2012 (14-7 in the playoffs during that stretch)
-2015 ended the 10-year playoff streak (2005 to 2014)
-2020 is the first losing season in 20+ years
(Sorry for the ... - I was trying to fix the formatting)
When it's all said and done that's pretty impressive.Massillon Washington
182-73
16 playoff appearances (33-16)
8 Regional Championships
4 State Runners-up
Always the bridesmaid, never the bride......When it's all said and done that's pretty impressive.
Thank you Caleb, it IS very impressive. When it's all said and done that's pretty impressive.

Absolutely impresive. No in all seriousness, I've definitely partook in the Massillon troll fest.....but that's a resume almost anyone (and all but a handful at the D1/2 level) would kill for.
Newark struggled in late 80s when in the newly formed Buckeye Central Conference. I remember a couple 1-9 seasons on top of 4-6 seasons. But, Wildcats did help Fremont Ross in 90 by beating Lancaster.Newark Wildcats
(58-151)
2 Winning Seasons (04', 05')
1 Playoff Appearance (05')
Its been especially brutal being a Newark Wildcat fan in football. There was a 40 game stretch where the Cats only won 1 game. Playing in the OCC-Ohio with Pickerington Central, Gahanna, Pickerington North, Reynoldsburg, Lancaster and Groveport absolutely beat the program into the ground. Went from having 70-90 kids on the roster in the 90's into the early 00's, to now having 30-40 kids on the roster. It's been really really sad to witness. Newark should 100% be looking for a new league, but the powers that be will NEVER let that happen. Its unfortunate.
Hang in there. Keep fighting. There's more to it than winning games.Newark Wildcats

For example ? From a fans perspective...Hang in there. Keep fighting. There's more to it than winning games.

But if the shoe was on the 0ther foot, and their biggest rival, whomever that may be, had the exact same resume and smugness and arrogance of the Mass fanbase they would absolutely join in the troll fests.

At first yes, but that has dwindled down quite a bit. You also have to remember although a major sport, football is only one sport. They are excelling at many others, basketball included.I know they're still a good deal bigger than all of them and may see it as beneath them, but has there been any talk of Newark in the big school division of the LCL?
I'd think that would at the least be better competitively than playing Pick Central, Reynoldsburg, and Lancaster every year.

0 State titles, you are tied with Massilll0n
Yes, because just about every MAC school has 6 Titles apiece. I'd be tired of Zero(0) and go to the source as well. You MAC honks wonder why I "stop by" now and then?
