Pending board approval on April 11th, Lane Knore has verbally accepted the position. Knore most recently served as an assistant coach at Canton CC these past 2 seasons. Prior to that, he was on the staff at Rittman where he served as interim head coach to close out the 2013 season following a bizarre situation that cost the HC his job.

Knore also spent time on Northwest's staff under Vic Whiting and served on the staff at his alma mater Versailles in the mid to late '90s. I know of Knore from his brief time at Canton CC. He coached the DBs and WRs and also handled the lion's share of film preparation. He's a good Xs and Os and guy who isn't afraid to put the time in. He'll be missed at Canton CC.
