(8-1) Van Wert at Bath (0-9)
(1-8) Kenton at O-G (1-8)
(6-3) Defiance at Wapak (8-1)
(3-6) Shawnee at Elida (4-5)
(6-3) Celina at St. Marys (7-2)

Game of the week: Wow, I feel like three of these games could be close. Of course only Celina/St. Marys has big playoff implications. With Van Wert probably able to beat Bath with its backups, Celina/SM won’t affect the league title race. The probable co-champs Van Wert and Wapak have clinched home games, and the two teams with two league losses, Celina and St. Marys, have clinched playoff spots. St. Marys would probably clinch a home game with a win but Celina might come up a little short with a win, tough to say. It would take a miracle for Defiance to not make the playoffs, and Elida needs too many things to happen to make it. Bath, Kenton, O-G, and Shawnee are all mathematically eliminated.

Only three people didn’t get perfect picks last week, with two of them being in the top 5, so there’s almost nothing to note from last week, although for the first time since week 3, two people dropped off the all-week picking list. The easy picks all won. Two people went with Celina to upset Wapak, and one person picked Kenton to beat Shawnee. It’s not over yet though. There are maybe two games that could go either way, possibly three, as O-G and Kenton battle to avoid being the worst team outside of Bath, and two big rivalry games of Shawnee/Elida and Celina/St. Marys.

Probable co-champs you feel Defiance will beat Wapak

Van Wert - Cougars name the score, Bath's winless season finally comes to an end
O-G - Titans over Kenton. Both teams hope for a much better season next year
Wapak - wins a slugfest against Defiance for the outright WBL title
Elida - toughest pick of the week for me. Elida over Shawnee in a close, low scoring game
St Marys - beats Celina in a shootout

Cougars could score 100 if they wanted.
Now, among games that can end up close...O-G's offense is bad but its defense will be the best unit on the field, and enough to get a second win.
Wapak will win the title outright, hopefully another off season of work will allow Defiance to finish off some drives.
I was leaning toward Shawnee after analyzing the schedules. Tough to pick a team to win after losing 5 straight games. But Elida has a decent advantage in the stats that is too hard to ignore.
It'll be close but I feel St. Marys will have enough offense to get past Celina.

Van Wert (yawn)
OG tough battle for 2nd worst team in the WBL
Wapak in a close win to seal the outright title
Elida in a 2nd "game of the week"
Celina over a tough SM team for the Game of the Week- they played Wapak very tough, but too many mistakes. A strong pass team beats SM run game, if they are able to possess the ball. Hoping coach Baders kids can rally and get one back on SM for the first time in 6 years.

What the heck happened with OG? Final four a year ago to now battling it out week 10 try to get their 2nd win of the year.

Van Wert - Best team in league going to finish 2nd.
OG - OG's D should be enough to win this one.
Wapak - Defiance has to play better than last 2 weeks or this might be ugly.
Elida - toss up
St. Marys - Celina's D is good but not enough offense.

Van Wert best team in the league? If that was the case they wouldn't be finishing 2nd...

Lol you're right... talk to coach Rucker about his fourth down play calling.. I am sure that has been haunting him ever since
I think he's fine considering he's the only head coach in the league with a state championship (Does Travis M0yer know what the state tournament is?) and is going to go 9-1 and primed for yet another deep playoff run.

Ouch.. good point... but wait, you want to compare league records between r0cker and Moyer? I didn't think so..
