Prepare for Round 2 folks

Little over half a dozen teams in SC have gone on quarantine or suspended their practices due to covid already after less than one week of practice.
Damn shame to see the ignorance of not getting vaccinated on display in the Southern US, cases are insane in those regions. I think all is good in Ohio to be honest, majority of people are vaccinated and our cases are far less than SC who has half the population we do.

Don’t hold your breath on Ohio, BGSU just mandated masks in all buildings. The Wood and Lucas county health departments “recommended” masks be worn inside.

And even Kent State is following suit.

Cases aren't too bad, so we should be fine in Ohio. But to see cases skyrocketing in the South is pretty concerning, not gonna lie.

"If I don't get tested it doesn't exist."

So freaking stupid.
So in the past did you automatically get tested for a runny nose, cough or sore throat? How bout that occasional case of the runs? 98.2 percent survival rate and over 95 percent chance of not going to the hospital. Wether you want to admit it or not, it’s here to stay! The common cold is a form of COVID. Wake up, wash your damn hands and cover your mouth when you cough!

This is all such a joke. How many kids were hospitalized during the season (or anytime for that matter) last year? How many hospitals are overrun right now? None. This is all just one big hoax again.
Local hospital put up tents for the expected case load. Dicktator dewine routinely mentioned that county as being soooo bad with the rona...but the hospital was never over run. Those tents were never even used.

At least it was a real life training for them in case something real dangerous struck

Don't forget...because of Ohio legislation that was put into law in June, Ohio Health departments cant make blanket mandates any more for people that aren't sick. I'm pretty sure at the State Level too that any mandate can't be more then 30 days long.

Getting tested every time you have the sniffles is freaking stupid. Nobody said it doesn't exist. Do some research and come back and tell us how many kids in Ohio under the age of 19 have died from Covid since this all started. Then do some research and come back and tell us how many died in car accidents, drownings, fires, cancer, suicides, drug overdoses or damn hear anything else that can kill you in that same amount of time. Football players stand a much greater chance of ending up in the hospital from actually playing the game then they do from Covid. What were doing to the young people in this country over something that barely impacts them is ridiculous. They have sacrificed enough over the last year and a half to protect a few. Your comment is a freaking joke. If you don't have anything worthy to add to the conversation then just be quiet. Troll.

Just a wild thought for the same crowd that said it wouldn't reach America, and then that it wouldn't infect anyone, and then that it infect more than 50,000, and then that it wouldn't kill more than 1,000, and then that it it wouldn't kill 50,000, and then that it wouldn't kill 100,000, and so on and so forth have you ever considered that the reason this keeps going on is your reluctance to simply follow simple guidelines? Why has Australia been able to handle his? Why has Japan? We keep continuously shooting ourselves in the foot and then complaining someone or something else did it to us. This is not difficult

Australia is going back into their 6th lockdown with the military now enforcing it, hardly something to strive for.

1/4th of the cases with over double the population of Ohio certainly is though. And your assessment of the lockdown and the process over there is deeply flawed and deliberately inflammatory. Trying to pervert reality in order to feel as if your half-baked opinions are correct is not something to make a habit of

At what cost? And there is nothing "flawed" of "inflammatory" about their lockdown, they literally have the military helping enforce it:

Covid in Sydney: Military deployed to help enforce lockdown

"Soldiers will join police in virus hotspots to ensure people are following the rules, which include a 10km (6.2 miles) travel limit.
State Police Minister David Elliott said it would help because a small minority of Sydneysiders thought "the rules didn't apply to them".
Information provided by health officials indicates the virus is mainly spreading through permitted movement.
The Australian Lawyers Alliance, a civil rights group, called the deployment a "concerning use" of the army in a liberal democracy."

So no, the opinion is not "half-baked" but continue to sit on your high horse.
