A man was shot to death in downtown Portland on Saturday night, amid a truck caravan that rolled through downtown in support of President Donald Trump.

Portland police confirmed to WW that they are investigating a homicide outside a parking garage at the corner of Southwest 3rd Avenue and Alder Street.

"At 8:46 pm, Portland Police officers heard sounds of gunfire from the area of Southeast 3rd Avenue and Southwest Alder Street," the bureau said in a statement. "They responded and located a victim with a gunshot wound to the chest. Medical responded and determined that the victim was deceased."

Interestingly, CNN is trying to claim that this is "Trump's America" and blaming him for the violence.

That is the same as saying that Timothy McVeigh was Clinton's America. And Sandy Hook was Obama's America.

A few months ago I truly thought the Dems had a shot at winning back the Presidency and Congress. Unsurprisingly they don’t know when to pull back and now not even the MSM can mask what is going on in this country.The people in the middle who the election hinges on are waking up.

Trump’s the president and he’s the one beating the podium for law and order. It’s hard to make a case for law and order when the countries on fire and it’s burning on your watch.

This is going to be a brutally effective attack for dem’s.

It is kind of hard to pin it on the President when it is the opposition creating anarchy. I think most of the electorate is going to see it as what to expect from Democratic leadership unless they start to condemn all the violence.

While I agree that Trump is divisive, I'm not sure what anyone could do at this moment to stop the violence and riots. These people are so far to the left that they are attacking the Democratic Mayors of the cities.
 
So the Dem's hold no responsibility for this unrest? From day one their mantra was resist. Obi is delusional if he thinks this stuff is helping Dems.

LOL at the libs on this board trying to pin all this nonsense on Trump. Since the night he was elected the left vowed that getting Trump out of office was priority #1. The irony is that I remember the concern that they had that Trump wouldn’t accept the results of an election loss to Hilary. All Dems had to do was take their L and focus on coming up with a legit platform to run on for 2020. Instead they shifted even further to the left and alienated even more Americans who simply cannot get on board with their far-left ideologies.

Trump can't just send in federal troops, they have to be requested or be sent there to protect federal or taxpayer property. If he would do this the dems would cry he is acting like a dictator, it would also set precedence enabling the next dem who comes in to weaponize our military against it's freedom loving people.Trump is wise not to take the bait.

So when Ferguson and other cities were burning, it was Obama's fault... being on his watch?
