Will Eds have a good crowd in Cincy?

My gut feeling is no. Ed's fans tradtionally don't travel well for regular-season games (as evidenced at Massillon in Week 7 last year). If this were a late-season game, it would probably do better.

Also, with school either not started yet, or having just begun, there probably wouldn't be a lot of time to organize a large number for student buses.

I'd guess a thousand at best.

I'm thinking about going. However, if I do, I'll be going with my college roommate who is a St. X grad, thus cancelling me out!!!

You never know. Last year's opener had a very vocal St. Ed's student section. The students might be planning something for this 1st game.

If Mr. Becks and the great student council gets a letter out like 2 weeks before about a bus going down there, we could have a huge crowd.

I'm probably going, but I wouldn't expect a large St. Edward crowd. Now who does the average Cincinnati HS football fan hate more- Cleveland teams or St. X? Maybe we'll have some GCL haters rooting for us.

Definately Cleveland teams. I could never bring myself to root for an institution located in "the mistake on the lake". I for one can say the Moeller section will root for St. X because most of the families from each school know each other & come from alot of the same east-side neighborhoods. The rivalry between the schools is very intense but there is also nothing but respect between them.
