What regions would Marion Local Win in Each Division?

They win all but one region per DP rankings. His rankings are >90% accurate so that's a pretty easy question to answer.

D7- all
D6- likely all, but Kirtland is there sooooo, maybe 3.
D5- all
D4- only Glenville is a true threat
D3- they lose to TCC
D2 is where it gets tricky. I don't think they hang with the Massillon's, Avon's, and Hoban's of the world. Maybe they win 1-2 regions?
D1 I honestly don't think they win many. MAYBE one, but the depth in D1 and D2 would really start showing up

D5 is their limit imo. Teams like Perkins in D4 I would take over them. Idk if they’d even win any D5 regions. Coldwater struggled in D5, lost by nearly the exact same score in 2022 in the playoffs to LC as they did to ML and LC lost in the state semis. The best team in each region once you get to D5 could play with ML, would they always win? I doubt it but it would also be a lot more difficult for ML to win 4 consecutive games at that level.

D2 on down, I think you're dead on; though I think they could beat TCC about 3 out of 10 times. D1 is tricky because, while there are fewer great teams this year than there normally are, some of these teams' depth/roster sizes would give them a decided advantage late in said games.

A lot of people think there is a major line of demarcation because of enrollment size, but people forget that coaching is a significantly bigger factor, and ML could possibly be the best-coached team in the state. We've seen plenty of instances where teams from lower divisions have beaten bigger ones.

Lib Center not even in the same stratosphere as ML. Not even close...like Super Colon Blow.
Only a few comparison games between the two the last couple years:

2022
ML 35 CW 0 (No Blasingame)
LC 34 CW 0 (With Blasingame)

2023
LC 62 PH 0 (No Nash Meyer)
ML 49 PH 0 (Also no Nash Meyer)
ML gave up twice as many points to CW as LC did. (Okay fine they also scored twice as many points on CW as LC did.)

Granted this is a special team even by ML standards, and they saw it coming. Unfortunately or not they could not find a bigger name to add this year, which would have been interesting.

I think they need to stay focused - not that wouldn't be favorites in D7 - however Minster always plays them tough. Don't sleep on Columbus Grove they are another team capable - but again MLMS would be favorites - no question !

This is about exactly where I really believe them to be. At their very best game, yes they could win far up the division ladder. At their worst, Minster or Columbus Grove could start a new losing streak for ML.

“True threat” 😂😂😂 Glenville would beat the snot of out of them, respectfully. We take a few of our Frosh and throw them with our JV kids and they'd beat them too. But very comical and entertaining topic, salute.
