Week 4: Elder vs St Edward

The only thing I really know about Ed's is there offensive line is massive. They are the size of D1 college offensive lines. Elder has their work cut out for them to stop St. Ed's run game. The one good thing for Elder is Ed's lost their 2 stud defensive ends that gave teams a ton of pressure last season. As Omar has so kindly let everyone know, they solved that problem 2 weeks before the season with a stud transfer at defensive end.
Elder will put up a fight but I'm just worried about the speed and size. The fact you face three OL going to Big 10 next year....that's tough.

I mean, the dude has made 2 separate threads about this game; I think we're close to getting back the 'banned from Elder games' PBoy

I didn't say that to mean Elder needs to just get this loss out of the way. I mean, no matter the result, it needs to get over with so Omar can spare us all his whining.
I didnt take it that way MNDoug I'm tracking with you. Agreed the Omar Embargo is about to happen

Elder did okay against them last year, and Elder has most of the front 7 back minus Freeman, Hulen, Voelkerding, Horenschmeyer. Heitz, Ginn, Fortkamp, Guidugli are good replacements for what they lost.

Good luck to Elder today! Always a great game that I look forward to. Elder has beat some of the very best Ed’s teams. Anything is possible when these two meet up!

Go for 2???????
Coaches were calling to go for 2 on Brass' final TD, but when Brass had to come out of the game due to his helmet coming off they kicked the PAT.
Left 3 timeouts on the board?
Elder called their first time out in second half in the third quarter before the third and 17 play they converted on a pass to Murphy. Elder called their second time out before St. Edwards' field goal.
