Really hope the Leps can turn their program around. Got a lot of respect for them. Hopefully they continue to play lake. Always one of my favorite games.

I really hope we can turn the program around too, but I am losing confidence. This is hard to watch and keep a positive attitude. Cut down on the turnovers and start playing with some intensity.

Looking forward to having Louisville in Canal Fulton on Friday evening. Northwest needs to prepare well and stay focused.

It's sad to see such a once a storied program with great tradition fall as they have. Where does the responsibility lie? I put it on the AD and coaches. First and foremost it the AD should give them a schedule where the have a fighting chance. When you schedule schools 2 or 3 times larger and from a powerhouse league you are not putting your kids in a position to be successful. Then there is the matter of a coaching staff who in 3 or 4 years have not shown the kids how to be winners. Simply asking what is the problem and how to get that winning tradition back?

This game could go either way, but Louisville needs it a lot more than Northwest.
0% Chance Louisville wins this game. The defense hasn’t played terribly. I think they could actually keep games closer if they only played defense the entire game and never even ran their offense out there.
Demarco could probably put 50 up but won’t to keep it civil

🤔 NW needs to clean up some things on special teams and be prepared for a tough game.

If Demarco has a chance to put up 50 pts he will. They ran him out of town after going 6-4 the first year with independent schedule and having much success during his tenure with the Leps.

Yeah we ran him out of town winning 1 playoff game in 9 years and it has been downhill ever sense. Twiddy was a joke and still had more wins in one season than Davis has all time. We could loss all 6 fed games and to northwest. Maybe out last two games might be winnable if the kids didnt check out.

love that these two are playing again though. This game used to be one of the most heated in area for a while.

With that, Northwest will likely come away with a win, but the Leps will keep it close. No O but the Defense is pretty solid.

What I watched Friday night was possibly the worst offensive scheme I have ever seen!!! We ran the same crap over and over and over and over again with no success. Not 1 time did we run the bootleg out of that "triple option" formation. Not once do i recall seeing the QB cut it up when running the option. Listen it's not an option offense if there is no "option"!!!

That being said I absolutely love how the defense is playing and without them these games would be running clocks. Problem is how long can the defense sustain this when they are on the field for 3/4 of the game? I agree that this has been a trainwreck of an experiment with this staff and it's time to open it up and find the right fit. If it happens to come from outside the program then folks will have to deal with it. We can't continue to play this type of football and then walk around town listening to folks say we should join the federal league........ I mean are you blind? If we don't make wholesale changes to the offensive scheme or personal (QB) we won't score a point against the Federal League teams on the schedule this year.

I'm really feeling for these kids this year because talent and effort is there and they are not being put in a position to be successful.

Marlington only lost by 8 (22-14) on the road to Northwest. Could of been worse (down 14-0 early) but the dukes did get it together by late in the 2nd quarter (tied it up 14-14 by halftime) & then played pretty well defensively most of the second half. I was honestly expecting a 3 or 4 score win for the Indians.

I would expect the Leopards to fare better? Or is their offense/coaching really that down this season?

Louisville really screwed up when they hired that Johnny Cash Conway Twitty clown. Guy probably spent more time developing trick plays then watching film.

After 2 games the offense is in crisis mode for the Leps. Time to send this game playbook back to the joker you bought it from and get your $3.00 back. If the coach has too much pride to admit he was wrong and save the season then he needs to go.

A 5-5 season under Twiddy wouldn't look to bad right about now. The guy scored 25-40 pts a game except for the shut out vs. Massillon that year.
He was handed a good developed team that had plenty of skill players. Who developed all that? Ever since they fired Demarco it’s been a circus

IIRC There was a ten year stretch where they went 5-5 and almost all were great games. One game was delayed by lightning and finished the next morning.

You hit the nail on the head. I really feel for the kids, and I’m genuinely perplexed on why these decisions were made (new offense/QB choice). You picked an offense you can’t run and a QB that can’t run it, it’s almost like your sabotaging the season on purpose. Charlie Roberts is your QB, he was your QB last season, and after not bringing him out after halftime last week to lead the offense and regain moral for the team, you now have me wondering if the staff even cares about winning. What coach in their right mind let’s a QB turn the ball over this many times and doesn’t pull them for even one series? I clearly see why Rode transferred out.

Agreed. For some reason he wasn't good enough to start as a sophomore at Louisville but he was at McKinley.

I think he is doing it so we can have the 1st overall pick next year in the draft next season, it seems to have worked out for the Browns.

here’s mine. If Northwest fields a team slightly better than the 7-8th grade little leopard browns, then Northwest 31 - Louisville 10
