Got to say Thank You to Chuck Kyle. As a Massillon fan and ex player, ran into Iggy in 1989 regional final. He is one hell of a coach and an exceptional human being. Gave Massillon a lot of beatings but he was pure class. Wish him a great retirement. One of the best ever in Ohio and the country.

Kyle has left a legacy at Ignatius that will never be replicated, anywhere in the US. I was nervous when ignatius scored to make it 7-7, as I have been many times before with him on the sideline. A great win for the eagles, a great career for Chuck Kyle.

Very odd seeing coach kyle head off field last time. Truly a lifetime of memories for me. First game next year will feel odd
I would say that I have been to 90% of the Ed's v. Iggy games since he became the head coach at St. Ignatius. Not sorry to see him leave as an Ed's fan. But I am sorry to see him leave the game as a fan of high school football. He is in a very special elite class of Ohio high school football coaches !!

For PDC and CatAlum, I cant resist. What was the Hoban score?😂

Congrats to Coach Kyle on a great career. I was happy to see Coach Lombardo and all the Ed's coaches come over and wish him the best at the end of the game.

And congrats to the Ignatius kids who left it all out on the field. They played hard for 60 minutes.

Coach Kyle ruined many of my Saturdays (at least 27 of them) because he was so good. He transformed HS football by bringing in a viable passing game to HS football. Whether it was him, or the coaches he brought in, that success is his legacy. All the praise he's getting doesn't measure up to how great he really was. He was the best! Congratulations Coach on a great career and everything you've done for the young men in our community. ✔

Will be interesting to see if Kyle in stands next year as he has joked about. I suspect he will be, the passion burns still as evidenced by getting the sideline warning last night.

He is such a humble man, as we all know. The truth is he was a game changer in the passing game in Ohio HS football and that impression on the game will be permanent. He helped make Ohio HS football a better product, and others followed his lead to the benefit of all of us spectators.
