USA Today article on California High School Players in The NFL

I like this quote:

"In high school, we weren't the most athletic team," Jones-Drew said. "We weren't the most talented. We knew we would work harder than you. We were going to outhit you. Coach Lad just made us work harder than everyone. We just believed in his rules. You couldn't cheat, no smoking, no cheating, no lying, or you were off the team."

I guess he didn't get the memo from the same article:

De La Salle, ranked No. 4 in the USA TODAY Super 25 rankings, has six former players this season in the NFL, which ties it for the most with another California high school, Poly of Long Beach.

I think we should rename Rule #4 to the DLS rule. Even the alumni in the NFL think they aren't talented...
