I think “people” just love to bit¢h about coaches, period.
I am nowhere near that level of expertise. I have just followed the program for a very long time.
Yeah, never has a "new" member been a coach defending himself on Yappi. Love it! You should have gone with a name like "Leroy Bickerstaff" or "Pierre Delecto"
Yes, over 300 vs Perry and probably 275 vs walsh (did not see stats but watched on streaming)

Commenting on a WILLIAM BLAKE post where he said ST.V has some of the BEST WR in the state, and I commented saying that they couldnt start for Hoban or WJ, and he said what WR would want to go to HOBAN, who has 2/3 D1 WR and tight ends

If they are very good athletes use them in another way?

Agreed. I think NDCL is a loss, though not a big one, and that they win against Elyria Catholic.
It used to be that the measure of a coach was whether he could get kids "to play for him." Now it's as much whether he can get kids to come play for him. That's going to be a tough sell for Grant off of a 2 win season.

Truth, and in this day an age, it might be a tough sell to get current kids to even stay at the school or stay on the team. There are many talented multi-sport athletes on the current team that may decide to focus on their other sport.

Anybody else watching this abomination? I haven't watched much as I am out of town but just pulled it up on Youtube to watch a little and saw SVSM break off a 40 yard play. They then went from 1st and 10 to about 3rd and 50 with penalties and sacks. They then break off a long 50+ yard run for a first down that gets called back for a penalty. They then run it for little or no gain and on 4th get the punt blocked. NDCL scores two plays later to got up 38-14. Eegads Irish.

He's a good WR. Not nearly what you make him out to be, though. Just a good high school WR. That's all. Not close to top 25 in the state. Maybe not even top 50. Bless your heart.

Who are you talking about? I said “last spring I would have said STV has one of the best receiving CORPS in the state” that means multiple receivers. Since then a few left, the QB that could get them the ball left, and unfortunately the current QB couldn’t read a defense if it were tattooed on his eyelids (granted he might learn he’s a frosh but he’s not even the best frosh QB they have). The line is decimated. So continue to bring this up btw, yes, the young man you’re talking about could be top 25 in the state if in the right system. He definitely could be one of the top in the area if he worked at it.
WOW are u clueless. Im guessing you are talking about #13 he is OK, no where near TOP 25 in the state or best in the area, he is a good hs wr and that is it.

And you base your opinion on what? his performance this year without someone that can get the ball to him consistently; without a running game to losing up the pass defense; On an offense that pretty much relies on the "three step throw it as far as we can and let him go up for it?" And finally, targeting no other receivers in the corps. Did I say no running game? And BTW, its my opinion that he's not the best offensive weapon they have.
Did you read the word "Could" several times in my comments or you just happen to purposely skip over that so you could have response? It's like speaking about politics, just insert your own biased interpretation of what you read to fit your agenda. SMH.
STV has some talent, lost a lot but they still have some. Don't be a "p and take that away from these young men.
