St.Edward was leading 7-0 at the halftime. St.Ed's touchdown was set up on a blocked punt that was recovered on the Benedictine 12 yardline and went into score a few plays later.

We couldn't get any of ESPN's hot female sideline reporters to cover this game in such short notice, so we have sent EagleSE down to the field. Hopefully he is paying attention to the game.:D
 
 
Good news for the Eagle faithful. The herbs got a little more motivated in the second half and the offensive line dominated as they were able to move the ball much better. The Eagles scored 21 in the second half and rode the wave with a tough defense winning 28-0.

Nice job for the freshman team, they really looked dominant in the second half against a very large and talented Benedictine team.
 
Once again the O line dominated, but I think the defense deserves mention. Over the last 5 games the most points given up has been 7!

And that includes games against 2 previously unbeaten freshmen teams!
 
Thanks Mr. B. It's a sometimes endearing term that has been given to freshmen for over 30 years.

Speaking of terms, don't know if you have ever heard the term from farmers refering to corn-fed beef (usually the biggest ones), but I think we could use that term to describe the Benes lines....corn-fed beef. Man were they big.
