GO BUCKS!

I'm confused on the Buckeyes website where it says they dual Columbia at 11am in Levien Gymnasium (New York, New York) and then Hofstra at 4pm in Hempstead New York? 2 duals 30 miles apart in New York traffic seems odd.

Why? Seems pretty obvious. Wrestle at Columbia, get in van, go wrestle at Hofstra. I am sure its one weigh in. Hofstra prob weighs in at home at 11am. Maybe Hoftra dual starts a little late if traffic is bad.

Columbia dual won't take 2 hrs. If its 1.5 hrs, OSU gets to Hofstra by say 2:30, 3pm at the latest.

From personal experience, traffic isn't terrible midday weekends. 40 minute drive or so.

Almost half of Columbia is former OH HS guys. Andy Garr, Michael Baker, Nolan Neves, and Angelo Rini all potentially facing their home state team.

Although not listed in the probable lineup, you also have Lennox Wolak for Columbia at 174 from Dublin Coffman. Had a nice upset victory in this dual last year over Ethan Smith.

Would of just been easier if 1 of the schools traveled to the other and they made it a tri-meet.

McCrone is ranked #32 in intermat ranking. Not sure if you only do to 25. It will be interesting to see what adjustments McCrone makes with Babin this time around. Believe it was 14-5 match at Clarion Open.

No slight to McCrone...(y)

Excited for the lower weights. Bouzakis needs a break out match to build confidence, has all of the tools to AA if he can put it together.

Hepner wins 18-2
Missed Kharch I guess...
Hoffman 19-4
Geog 18-1
Feldman 20-5
Broadcast is a trainwreck. The lady doing the play by play has been good, better than anyone B1G and ESPN+ has had so far. (y)
McCrone Fall
Bouzakis Fall
Cannon 17-2
D'Emilio 19-2
Paddy 22-5

Vegas will be a big test. I can’t remember but can wrestlers compete unattached in this tournament

Edinboro is not good roster wise, Columbia punted the dual, and Hofstra I think has a limited roster. Ohio State is doing what a top ten ranked team in the country should against low end D1 teams, or lineups that reflect the lower end of D1.

CKLV will obviously be a much bigger barometer, and one where the lack of high end talent could prove to work out to the not so good in terms of the standings (i.e. is there a sure fire national semifinalist on this roster?)

This is the most talented and deep team Ryan has had. Are they the best right now? No but I would expect them to be with another year or two.

With Hepner and Hoffman at 65 & 84, is this the lineup we are looking at for the Big 10 season? If so, looks really solid to me!
