More impressive all time records at 2022 state meet?

Troy Lane. Completely out-of-nowhere dropping the Ohio All-Time record from 10.38 to 10.25, an over 1% improvement in a long-established event is huge. Plant's performance, while outstanding, was a 0.24 second improvement on Sylvester's previous record - only a little over 0.1% improvment of the previous record.

Also, Lane's best going into State was his 10.51 from Region 3 in 2022. Then he drops to 10.49 (+0.1), then BAM, 10.25 (+1.0). No contest IMHO between the two performances.

Lane was only a junior too, right? Wonder if he could improve to 10.teens?

Troy did run 10.37 and 10.40 earlier in the year.

I really like his double which is more impressive winning the 100 and 200 at the state meet. His 200 in 21.09 is also very impressive.

True for the 10.37; however, the 10.40 was 10.4 MT - results show all 100m times with a .x0 indicating manual timing. However, statistically both marks don't count at all as there were no wind readings (and probably no gauge, either) recorded.

Troy, Jr., also had another 10.25 at NBNO (3rd place) in Philly 2 weeks after State, albeit with a +5.4 wind.

The most impressive performance by a boy or a girl was Stimmel from Margaretta in the girls pole vault of 14' 6''. At that height she would have placed 4th in D3 and 6th in D1 boys.
She also almost set a national record! Looking forward to seeing what she does in college.
