I think 4 for 4 is a tall order for any region. And I have absolutely NO idea about their opponents.
With that being said, Fitch is the defending D1 Champion and they still have Watts in the circle. I gotta pit them as the favorite. And since Canfield defeated Fitch earlier this year I like their chances in the D2 tourney.
Good look to all Mahoning Valley squads this week!
 
I think 3 of the four make the finals, but I'm only expecting AF and Canfield to win titles! Good luck to all four valley schools
 
Fitch wins. Just too good.
Canfield screwed up against Tallmadge last year. Not this year.
Seems like SR’s year. Somewhat unexpected. On a roll.
Too tall of an order for Matthews.
 
Just want to piggyback here cause alot of family friends back home have kids playing now so wanted to point out the upcoming girls are thriving as well as the high school ones.

The Steel Valley All Stars 14U are heading to the 2024 Junior League World Series in Kirtland, Washington. The team has girls from Boardman, Canfield, Poland and Struthers

And then The Austintown 12U Girls team are again in Regional where they have a young pitcher who struck out 17 of 18 batters.

Mahoning Valley is continuing to produce Stud Fast Pitch players into the pipelines

I just watched Austintown beat the Indiana representative 3-1 on ESPN today. They play Missouri tomorrow morning on ESPN

Just saw they've won 5 straight and will play the Czech's again tomorrow at 4 for the championship.
 
12U World Series...

Austintown (CENTRAL REGION) beat Monterrey, Mexico (LATIN AMERICA REGION) 6-0.

Play Salisbury, NC (SOUTHEAST REGION) Monday at 5.

Due to the tropical storm down there ALL of Thursday's games were cancelled.

The World Series has now changed locations. The games are being played at Eastern Carolina University.

Austintown vs Louisiana is schedule for 7pm tonight.
