Is there such an afterlife as “Valhalla”?

Not saying I 100% believe in this, but I have a friend at work who talks about it a lot. He has this “religious belief” that people who die during War or Conflicts, such as World War 2, Iraq War, Russia/Ukraine, Etc., don’t end up going to Heaven or Hell when they get killed, but their souls end up in a place called “Valhalla”? I haven’t done much research on it, but would you agree or disagree with his logic? What about Nazis? Would all Nazis who died during the war just all end up in Valhalla with people who served with honor?

In your opinion, like my question says, “Is there such an afterlife as Valhalla for Army, Soliders, Marines, or people who fight for their country? Or is it just considered “mythology” or “fairy tale”?

Less of a religious belief IMO. More of a military metaphor used as an encouragement before battle, and to honor fallen comrades.
