Has the GCL south disappeared?

The Always Be initiative has been ongoing for a couple years with a great deal of money already behind it and several spaces have been renovated already. I think phase 1-2 are what we're in. I believe phases 3 and 4 include a new gym, but we'll see about that. 😂
From what I've heard, phases 3 and 4 could potentially include the acquisition of the orphanage. This would change everything there.

LaSalle will be D3 in a few years after they merge with Mercy/McCauley. Their current situation is not sustainable after they’ve dug themselves in such a hole financially & the archdiocese allowed it. I don’t know what the GCL South will become in the future. They can’t do 3 teams. Maybe talk with Trinity, Cov Cath, Hoban. Who know, but it’ll have to be discussed at least to have a plan

EdChoice has made the privates much more affordable now. I think LaSalle will be fine. Moeller has had waitlists for incoming freshman classes recently. Moeller, Elder, and StX only have so many seats. I can certainly see an uptick in enrollment in LaSalle future. Could actually be a return to D1.

DONT be so pessimistic give the new admin a chance Things are happening to recover the school from the depths the previous admin put it in. Give it a chance

Literally none of this is true unless the annual report is an utter lie. Why do you people constantly feel the need to make stuff up? Or did you type this in 2012 and forget to hit post?

I look forward to LaSalle/Mercy/McCauley joining the Coed. It will be a big improvement over Roger Bacon/Purcell.
I agree co-ed will be a big improvement. I don't think the orphanage being bought is attainable. If it was it would have happened already. I don't see anything wrong with the current gym. Priority should be more classrooms = more money for the school to use for future endeavors.

If anything X should have to join the Archdiocese.

They make stuff up because in the past the administration has not been transparent. No one knows the plan

I don't know Mike. Is he an Alum? Last I checked there are very few alums at La Salle in key roles. I wish I had the time. Last time I tried La Salle had a Summit. Many showed up. Not much was done. We showed up to meetings at school. Not much was done. I can remember La Salle having a Great leadership board led by physicians and alum who invested a ton. That board was dismantled. I'm not familiar with the present board, but they have huge shoes to fill. My focus is on Community service. LaSalle's motto should be we will go above and beyond to serve our community. Every time there is a big service event in Cincinnati La Salle should be there in numbers wearing all the same shirt so the cameras see = free advertising.

Sounds like you’re not paying attention and blaming the administration for that. The president, principal, athletic director, alumni director, director of campus ministry, director of advancement and the director of finance are all alumni.
The very mission of the school is service and that is not kept a secret, nor is it lacking in any way.
So are you not paying attention or are you just trolling on Yappi?

Like the saying goes, if you don’t know, Mike, you don’t know S…. They redid the principal president situation, revamp the number of things …. he is currently the president with a principal who is also an alumni. The ship was significantly off course over the last couple of years and they’re trying to write that and bring it back into, what we all used to know is LaSalle high school. You obviously have no idea what you’re talking about since you obviously don’t keep up with the school, so why don’t you take your trolling elsewhere

We've been hearing that since I was a student there. While I think La Salle is in fine shape going forward, I'm very skeptical about a new gym.
A plan should be 1) improve the sign out by the road to be big and digital = advertising dollars. 2) Build more class rooms = more alums = more future money 3) parking garage to better utilize space 4) pool Why a pool. Because a pool attracts seniors ( who tend to write big checks) and families = exposure to the school. Charge money and offer water aerobics. 5) Carve out a section on the corner of the stadium for alums. Make it wheel chair accessable, big comfortable backrest seats, heated, and covered. Install a private bathroom so they don't have to wait in line or connect it to the De LaSalle center. Or put the whole thing on the roof of the De La Salle center above the band room. 6) Purchase a limo van with decaled La Salle on the outside = mobile billboard. Use it for special events and picking up alums from airport flying in for events. 7) Organize more events at Lancer Stadium like CrossFit Games or Fire and Police challenges. 8) Invest in better, flashier jerseys and helmets. Uniforms attract talent. Just ask Oregon or Michigan. I think the helmets should be mirrored so the kids can see themselves in them and the competition can see themselves in the rear alla a wave to second place.

That will be a cold day in hades if that ever happens. Haha. I was shocked on how little some orders/sects within the Church like each other. It’s kinda funny almost. Didn’t find that out until I dated a catholic.

:ROFLMAO: We obviously have a troll here.

A troll is someone who contradicts. It seems you are the troll, Mic. I thought Marshall was from Wyoming as well as the gentleman he just hired. All I'm pointing out is suggestions for improvement. You proved my point exactly. Good for you for calling others names and putting them down. Well done!
