Grandview Hts beat Colonel Crawford 13-6.
CC took the ball to start and goes down and get a field goal- GV responds with a TD drive to go up 7-3; CC next possession GV intercepts a pass and takes to the 17 yard line then few plays later gets a TD to go up 13-3. CC was held on 4th and goal at the 2 to end the half- so was 13-3 at Half
.CC held GV on it 1st 2nd half possession and CC drives down and again held out of end zone with a 1st and goal from the 5- CC defense hold GV and again CC drives down and get a field goal with about 3 minutes left in the 3rd13-6, CC had it 1st and goal from the 5 again and had to settle for a field goal-CC drove down the field in the 4th quarter and turned it over on downs at about the 30 yard line with about 3 minutes left in game- GV was able to run the clock out to end the game.

This was a very good HS game- great crowd . Missed opportunities by both teams and GV was lucky to come out with the win.
CC was the best team GV has faced this year- as it should be in the playoffs

At the end of the 3rd quarter, it looked like the game could exceed 1000 total yards and 100 total points. Here's the stats. In the end, it's the 4 interceptions against Lakota East that made the difference.

If someone didn't know any better, they'd probably think that was a two point game that went down to the wire. Shows me Lakota East can play with anybody without the interceptions.
