Mason is the favorite to possibly win the state tourney this year by what Rise says.

Plus Derrick Henson (Mason) and Connor Buczek (St. Xavier) are on the All Midwest pre-season teams.

Even with UA being the better ranked, defending state champions? As mentioned in other threads, the ONLY way Mason has any hopes of toppling that beast is to have a goalie capable of stopping a shot... any shot..

I don't believe they will be able to top UA because responding to what JediMaster said, Joe will not be able to stop shots from any top program. Their chance was last year with Spencer.

Mason has no chance of winning state. I doubt they will win the region.

I wouldn't say NO chance, but as of now they certainly aren't favorites by any stretch of the imagination... If the goalie situation is solved, another regional title is a safe bet while they would be a legitimate shot for a finals appearance...
