Our site is a work in progress as it's just a couple of coaches that try and bring more attention to programs in general. There are plenty of recruiting and prospect coverage, but there isn't an accurate site for standings, scores, and schedules. Everyone doesn't use Maxpreps so it's not entirely accurate. We would eventually start adding history of these programs on the site too like program wins, conference championships, district titles, regional titles, etc.

Like I said, here is our site but it's a constant work in progress - www.ohiohoopnews.com

If you would like to contribute in any way possible, feel free to contact us at ohiohoopnews@gmail.com or message me on here.

I don't know a whole lot about the Northeast or Central/Southeast region. Knowing that the powerhouse of Berlin Hiland is now D3, that side of the bracket is free for the taking.

The Northwest and Southwest Region I am very familiar with being that I reside in MAC country. Fort Loramie, Tri-Village, New Knoxville, Cin. Country Day, and Toledo Christian are all tough teams and sad that only 2 of the 5 teams will make it to State.

Crestview is my sleeper team out of the NW region that may give New Knoxville a scare in their Regional-Semi game. New Knoxville is senior heavy with tons of experience and Crestview has a mix of youth and veteran players.

Cin. Country Day would be my sleeper team out of the SW region. They have played some tough regular season opponents and beat Tri-Village by 2 points very early in the season. They may match up well against Fort Loramie, but Loramie has a very deep team and probably has the best defense in D4.

ELIDA REGIONAL- SEMI WINNERS
Toledo Christian
New Knoxville
ELIDA REGIONAL CHAMPION
Toledo Christian

VANDALIA REGIONAL-SEMI WINNERS
Fort Loramie
Tri-Village
VANDALIA REGIONAL CHAMPION
Fort Loramie

PICKERINGTON REGIONAL-SEMI WINNERS
Trimble
Waterford
PICKERINGTON REGIONAL CHAMPION
Waterford

MASSILON REGIONAL-SEMI WINNERS
Buckeye Central
Dalton
MASSILON REGIONAL CHAMPION
Buckeye Central

STATE SEMIS
Fort Loramie
over Toledo Christian
Buckeye Central over Dalton

STATE FINAL CHAMPION
Fort Loramie
over Buckeye Central

Good calls on both. NK barely beats Crestview and CCD shocks Fort Loramie.

CCD has played Purcell Marion as well as anyone then beats FL and TV. What the heck? Why did they play so few games as they are just 13-5? I know that is a super liberal school and covid fanatics in the past - did they cancel some games?

With FL's upset loss last night, give me Buckeye Central over New Knoxville for the title.

CCD beating both Fort Loramie and Tri-Village tells me they are on a mission. They, much like New Knoxville do not have a deep bench. However, both teams starting 5 are SOLID. I like the winner of this game to be the favorite to win it all in Division 4. I am not sold on Buckeye Central or Waterford. I just don't believe their strength of schedule in the regular season or postseason is comparable to the latter two teams.

I like New Knoxville in this one (I am a MAC homer)! The Rangers have 7 seniors on the team, 6 of them played on the State Championship volleyball team. Another interesting fact an NK friend told me, all 7 have been together since kindergarten, 6 of the 7 have at least one parent who went to New Knoxville and 6 of the 7 had at least one grandparent that graduated from New Knoxville. All 5 starters will play at least one sport at the collegiate level. That's a talented group.

Genetics, genetics, genetics.
