By definition this is exactly the kind of thing that will remove guns from law abiding citizens. This is a long view effort where the goal isn't to directly violate the 2nd amendment but to circumvent it by raising the costs and regulatory complexities of owning guns. It's all part of a plan. And those on the right who refuse to see it are simply stupid.

Worst 50 year plan I have ever seen. Time to stop crying about nonsense. "States that require background checks for guns have lower rates of firearm homicide and suicide as well as lower rates of gun trafficking." But people are still able to own them. Stop crying about gun violence when you will do nothing to lessen it. It's tired.
