D7 R25 2024

We're trying too. I think it's making it harder for us to find games though because historically we've been good, no one wants to play us. I don't think will go as far as Cincinnati again, but who knows.

Our schedule this year has everyone bigger than us with the exception of Southern. If we win 8 games, I think will have some good points heading into week 11.

Eastern's schedule is so god awful it's funny. And they are convinced they are gonna dog walk region 23. A poster from there was actually arguing with a Fort Frye person that thier schedule was better than the Cadets.

As they say on seopreps, Eastern is in for a bareassing week 11.
I LOL'D when I saw they put Hannan on the schedule.
Yes, SEOPS is must see TV. Although the trolls are doing their best to kill it.

Fort Frye would bareass Eastern

I went to see the team when I got home. JFK got some bodies that look the part. I know nothing else of who they are or where they are from. If they put them in positions to be successful then it will be interesting.
Good to hear, hope they get back to their winning ways. Heard the kids from niles are gonna be the starting linebackers

Trimble should reach out to Marion Local for a week one or two game in the future (schedule an ongoing series).
I know there is travel involved but it would be beneficial to both teams. They both have a hard time finding games.
For Marion Local, a win would give them plenty of points as Trimble is always good, a loss would force them to re-focus.
For Trimble, a win would be a huge confidence boost & loss would let them know the level they need to reach the rest of the year heading into the playoffs.
I think the same could be said for other traditionally good schools from the Eastern side of the State who want to get to the next level in DVI / DVII.
This includes Lucas, Dalton, Shadyside, JFK, and others (not meaning to let anyone out).
What do any of these schools, including Marion Local, have to lose. They are already frequently traveling far for early games.
They could also try to schedule a Minster, New Bremen, Versailles, Coldwater, St. Henry, Ft. Loramie, etc. as these schools are traditional competitive with the best in DVI / DVII.

Glouster is almost an hour closer than our current week 1 game to give an idea how far we have to travel this year.

What’s the QB situation at JFK. I heard a kid from harding transferred and plays qb?
They return their starting QB from last year. The kid that came back from Harding also plays some QB too, he could play a couple of positions.

I like this idea. A great, great measuring gauge at where we want to be as program. Playing the big dogs of small school Ohio football.

We will forever have a week 1 game until time ends with Nelsonville-York unless that game gets moved back to week 5 or 10. This is a great idea.

Fort Loarmie played us before, can't remember the year but I'm pretty sure it is when Loarmie started football up.

Good 7on7 action today between Carrollton, Malvern, New Philly and Southern Local. Football is getting closer. Nice they included the lineman in drills and competition.

I like this idea. We have played Fort Loramie for 3 years in a row, going 2-1 against them.

Lucas plays a top 10 schedule every year and 17 playoff wins in 10 years is the result.

Dalton started this last year scheduling Kirtland and Mogadore in weeks 1 and 3. Unfortunately that's probably going to take a step back with the change of coaching staff. It's a shame because I believe you're right, playing stiff competition only grows your program....obviously if you're losing these types of games by 40 then it doesn't matter, but if you can be competitive or even win these games.....man, it can be a springboard for your program
