I got two shots bc and only bc that was the only way Incould get in the hospital to sit with my mom who had heart valve replacement surgery. If not for that I would’ve waited longer to decide if I needed the shot or not. I don’t begrudge anyone who decided it was in their best interest but I do despise the fact they were being forced upon people with the possibility of losing your profession if you didn’t do so.

That sucks.

I can’t believe how many people are just seemingly willing to forget how the Democrats in power all over the country leveraged their citizens to do something against their will. If someone uses their authority over me to manipulate me to do something against my will, especially when there is zero net societal benefit, they are pretty much guaranteed to be my enemy for life. I really can’t understand people voting for someone who is committed to making punks out of them.

Stupid Demarxist bitches

I got 2 shots because my employer mandated it. So I went with it because I didn't want to try to find a new job in the middle of all of it.
I've been working from home since March 13th of 2020 when they locked everything down.

The covid vaccine and the entire campaign around it was developed by the Trump admin. Complaining about others for following their lead is just more MAGA blame shifting.

That is amazing, that they forced you to get the jab even while working remotely.

Did they threaten to void your health insurance coverage if you didn’t get the jab, as well ? Or did they simply and literally threaten to terminate your employment, while working in the comfort of your own home ?

Looking to move on ? Or will remote work keep you with them ? Tenure to personally beneficial to leave them ?

I wonder who the CEO of his company voted for in 2020?

I'll go with option #6. Grumpy old farts on backwater of the internet message boards need to get over anything Covid related.

4 shots total, on time. Not got Covid. I'm not for mandating vaccines, but I look at it this way, considering how sick alot of people got and are still having problems, getting a vaccine that won't affect you otherwise is just another line of defense.
I said the same thing with flu vaccines which I've got for 20+ years, why not protect yourself as much as possible?

I actually just had a former work colleague tell me that last year a dear friend lost his wife and 21 year old son to covid. He had to be put into a coma and woke up to the news that they both had passed while he was out.

I don't think there is any data to suggest that Covid wasn't real, I just get tired of some digging their heels in and not looking at what's going on, political thoughts aside.

The politicalization of this is super stupid. The vaccine and recommendations on who should get it were a product of the Trump admin. It was then continued by the Biden admin. This link shows all guidance issued since the vaccine was released:

Let me clarify -- I had to get the shots to be able to go back into the office to work. As it turned out, I was able to keep working form home after the initial "scare" and didn't have to return to the office.

I have all my Covid shots & glad I did. However some friends didn’t do well without them.

Hey, if someone has to die, ……….

Damn.

Sometimes, being proactive can be a mistake. I've lucked into a few positives while goofing around.

All I know is many got sick, some sadly died of this, as many do with the typical flu, but why risk it if you can get a vaccine that helps??? Now was the vaccine rushed through the process and was there some risk that it wasn't all that? Absolutely.

Maybe but this is not a political issue any more than any other vaccine. Any rush, mistakes, or guidance was independent of political party. Both administrations took extremely similar positions.
