This alleged pattern of behavior just does NOT comport with the recent decision to add larger division schools with excellent records just last year-- there is NO WAY Wyoming's AD (or coach) could have predicted the falloff in BOTH Ross and Monroe this year-- especially Monroe, which has traditionally been a pretty consistently strong program-- scheduling both of those games would have been deemed an unnecessary (and, if your claim is true, unwanted) risk to that regular season winning streak... I just don't think that consideration is motivating Wyoming's scheduling right now.70+ regular season win streak is no accident......There most certainly is an element of softer scheduling and a softer conference schedule leaving less room than many for non-conf. games. The games Wyoming wants are probably not the ones they can get. The ones they can get, Wyoming probably doesn't want and therefore does not. (Wyoming is certainly a great team year in and year out and therefore will find it more challenging to find equal teams that will want to play them but certainly their are better and bigger schools that would add them. I just do not think Wyoming would add games where they would be the underdog) Hence the 70 game win streak.
