Central Ohio Job Openings

 
I would imagine there would be significant interest in the Orange job from throughout Central Ohio and the State. They should focus on someone with previous head coaching experience. I like the hire Olentangy made in Bartholomew as an example. A coach who has been successful at a smaller school would be preferable in my opinion.

I wonder if Granville's Coach Schroeder is interested. Did he come close to landing one last year? I thought I remembered his name but unsure. What other successful small school coach would be able to take one over as a previous poster mentioned.
 
Thought Miley was at Westerville Central for 2 years. Orange is going to be an interesting one, now that States is over, the craziness is about to start. I am sure there will be a few more HFC openings in the next month or so. And once the hiring starts, the domino effect will take off.
 
Can't believe this thread isnt getting more love, lol. I wanna hear everyone's "inside information". lol Serious note, Orange, W. South and W. Central are a few good spots to start the central Ohio coaching changes.
 
I have to believe Coach Schroeder and Coach Miley are interested in Orange. Two Westerville schools being open a year after a third one was open, can't be great news for the district itself.
 
North Central Ohio:

Lucas (D7, R25)
Great culture.
10 consecutive playoff appearances.
17 playoffs wins.
4 regional finals.
1 state runner-up.
 
Milan Smith of Harvest Prep to Orange
Marcus Ray of Westerville North to Westerville South
Mark Crabtree retired Coffman Coach to Westerville Central

I have no inside knowledge these are educated guesses
 
Any news from anyone on these Central Ohio jobs? 2 Westerville schools, Olentangy Orange, and Buckeye Valley ... all still open. And once the moves start, who knows what else will open. Thought we would see some movement by now.

Have heard that Orange is down to 2 candidates and set to announce soon. Not sure about the other jobs.

I have no idea if Buckeye Valley offered the Head Coaching position to Coach Crabtree (smart & good try if they did) but if you were him why would you take on that challenge? Since 1972 Buckeye Valley is 214-301-4, 41.43%. Their best record over this time is 8-2 in 2007, only 14 winning seasons and 3 playoff appearances (0-3). They just moved to the new CBL where they will have a difficult time competing. Granted the area/school district is seeing some growth with affluent people but still quite a challenge.
