Akron North will be hosting their Boys and Girls Scrimmage again next season.
We will be hosting it on Saturday, November 29th, 2025 at 9:00am.
(I know it is the OSU vs Michigan game, but this is the only weekend we can do it this season)
We have had a lot of success with the scrimmage the last 2 seasons and have nearly 30 teams for both boys and girls coming to get some pre-season work in.
Scrimmage Format
Wrestling is done on 4 mats
Round 1 1 min Period Neutral x4 (Take down let them up)
Round 2 1 min Period Neutral x4 (Take down & wrestle)
Round 3 45 sec Top and 45 sec x2 (Wrestle to Pin)
Round 4 1 min, 1 min, 1 min (Match Simulation)
We will call out girls weight classes 1st and then the boys after each round.
