Yep this game had that feeling the past few days and sure as hell the Steelers come thru with a big ugly loss. We had the first half going for us. We had the ball the majority of the first half. 3 points is what we had to show for it. This game falls on Coach T for the dumb decisions to go for it on 4th and 1 multiple times. Honestly the whole coaching staff. Also where was the pass rush all night? Didn’t see 90 or 39 much. Are those two on the back of a milk carton? Because they’ve had a big disappearing act the past 2 games. Oh well we’re still in good shape so lets get ready for the Bungles.Told yall what was gonna happen.

Indeed!Payback in two weeks.
4th down efficiency tells the story. Browns 4/4.If you didn't know the score you would assume Pitt won. Not sure how this happened tbh. Steelers won every statistical category except 4th down.

Honestly haven’t seen much of #39 all season now that you mention it.Yep this game had that feeling the past few days and sure as hell the Steelers come thru with a big ugly loss. Browns had nothing to lose and they played like it.4th down efficiency tells the story. Browns 4/4.
Bengals probably score between 24-27. Can the Steelers score 28 against a bad Bengal defense? I suspect one too many FGs in the red zone. Steelers will get them at home in a few weeks. I expect 3-3 in division games.Tough game this week at Cincy. Bengals are a 3.5 pt favorite last I saw.
Red zone offense can make the difference (as always). Maybe some J.Fields packages as they get into the redzone.
Pickens as it turns out, is the Bengals best defensive player today.2nd mental midget error. One more year then he can leave as free agent. Steelers will get a compensatory pick (probably a 3rd) from I’m leaving start over. Pickens could be an All Pro or out of the league in 2 years - he has the ability to do either .
Rough game. Learning opportunity this one.Rough game for JPJ. Haven’t followed the Steelers like I have in the past, is this just a bad game for the young corner or is he trending to bust status?
He is very handsy. Sometimes he gets away with it but he’s gaining a rep and lately refs been dinging him. He’s got to clean it up.Rough game. Learning opportunity this one.
Appreciate it, MSH.Rough game. Learning opportunity this one.
He needs to say stuff like this....outwardly he has been too soft on these divas.Tomlin calls on Pickens 'to grow up' after flags
Steelers wide receiver George Pickens drew the ire of coach Mike Tomlin for drawing two unsportsmanlike penalty flags in Sunday's 44-38 win against the Bengals.www.espn.com
Pittsburgh will have to lose out & the Bengals win out for this to happen. Neither will happen. There is a reason why this team was picked to finish last. Dont let a start against mediocre opponents, where the stillers didnt play that well, fool ya.
This is a team that will finish 3rd or 4th in the division
mark my words
Outwardly yes, but we have absolutely NO idea what is said behind clised doors. He needs to say stuff like this....outwardly he has been too soft on these divas.

Same....if he indeed is doing something but with all these divas...I don't know if he us.Outwardly yes, but we have absolutely NO idea what is said behind clised doors.
I prefer a coach keep the private conversations private
I think there is direct correlation on those WRs time spent in a Steeler uniform and their productivity. Claypool didnt live up to his talent, so hes gone mid season. D Johnson last year was ho hum- hello Carolina. AB was a stud and stayed a lot longer than others due to his numbers.I am torn on how Tomlin has handled the diva wr’s. Antonio Brown, Martavius Bryant, Chase Claypool, Danota Johnson & now George Pickens. The ‘me first mentality’, lack of effort (especially on blocking) and just the attitude each has displayed is enough to want and knock these knuckleheads into next week. One can definitely question why Tomlin doesn’t punish these guys more that he has. Yet, I think a case can be made that practically no other coach could have gotten more out of any of these guys or got what he did out of each for as long as he did.
I’m always reminded of former NY Yankees manager Casey Stengel who was once asked about the character of some of his players. He said “I know my boys drink whiskey but the ones who drink milk can’t hit home runs”.
Time to get ready for Cleveland
Anyone know where Michah Fitzpatrick is? I don’t think I heard his name mentioned yesterday….and it’s not the first time. Is it the defensive scheme? It appears he’s playing 20 yards off the ball about 90% of the time. Didn’t seem to work on the long pass to Chase under 3 minutes.
Steelers secondary got totally exposed - when they couldn't touch Burrow he just shredded them. luckily the Bengals D was worse than the Steelers but if D doesn't shape up we will be bounced in first round.
JPJ was awful. he just subscribes to the mantra of i'm gonna hold/grab and hope they don't call it.
Russell took what Bengals gave him all game long.
the fact this game came down to having to run the clock out is concerning but at least they showed they could win a high scoring game.
not sure Steelers will face a worse D rest of season except when Bengals come to the Burgh.
