I would say that any year a team makes it to state they didn't underachieve. Only "fans" would say that anything less than playing for the state championship was underachieving.

High school sports aren't for the "market". There are a lot of reasons for high school sports but that's not one.

According to that it just means there's more parity lately in other regions, or that teams have been 1 year flash in the pans. Could mean a lot of things.

Nobody does but there's a lot of teams every year with"bad dudes" who don't make it to state.

No doubt he's helped. But the foundation for these teams and the program was laid before they ever went to state. Eli Leiker has been the lead assistant coach since Brook got there and does a great job as well.
