    ohsaa got it right

I have heard from players and families who have said they'd rather play Final Four games in HS gyms and smaller venues then lose earlier in the tournament at Xavier, BG, Akron, etc.

Marion Local Football 'The Elephant In The Room'

In my initial post, I said MSML would run through DIII-VI, annually making it to the regional finals or beyond. They would run through a normal regular season - 8-2 and 9-1 would be the norm, but how they perform in weeks 13-16 would vary depending on the year.

What does OHSAA do about Marion Local in D7?

I watched parts of all of the championship games. In my initial post, I said that MSML would annually make it to the regional finals and beyond - one or two loss regular season records would likely be the norm. What they would do in weeks 14-16 would probably look different depending on the year.

What does OHSAA do about Marion Local in D7?

MSML would run through DIII-VI, annually making it to the regional finals or beyond. In DII, they would still have a winning record and host a first round playoff game. I truly believe that MSML would beat about 20-25% of DI teams on an annual basis (Region 1 - Normandy, John Marshall...

Did Moeller play bad or was Liberty just flat out better?

Moeller did not play well, but a lot of that was forced upon them by Liberty, as noted above. I would especially shout out Liberty's D-Line - Ponatoski rarely had a clean pocket to step into and they played disciplined, gap assignment football.

    Elyria’s Coach Fox steps down

I recall MANY Elyria alumni talking about the sports dynasty that the Pioneers would be when the district consolidated high schools in the '90s. Didn't work out so much.

    Colerain at La Salle

Lots of good talk about consolidating Colerain and Northwest High Schools, but that would require capital developments / improvements, and it would not seem that the voters of NWLSD are keen on passing such a levy.

Why haven't my guns killed anyone?

Man, one rhetorical question in response to another rhetorical question has allowed me to live rent-free in some people's heads. Lucky for me that there seems to be plenty of space to spread out.

Beto O'Rourke makes a Donkey out of himself

Right or wrong, he took a principled stand at a moment when he knew that he would have the attention of his opponent, the voters, and the media. He may lose the election because of it, but he'll be able to go to bed at night knowing that he did right by himself and his beliefs.

Why haven't my guns killed anyone?

Can the posters on the right explain why their thoughts and prayers haven't stopped these massacres?
