Kind of on topic to some other points made, but if you put Northmont in a division with Lima (?!?) and Trotwood, that would certainly help get them to the MVL, because those 2 schools make absolutely no sense being in the GWOC.

I do not think any rational Tipp fan believes that they are going to contend for state titles year in and year out. Consistently winning in the playoffs with a chance at a longer run (like they have done) is the standard. Tipp isn't Ohio State and the like, which complain whenever they lose 1...

Yes. Tipp routinely made the playoffs, but consistently was outclassed and lost almost all of their first round games in the CBC days. Now, Tipp wins playoff games, and clearly goes toe to toe with many of the other contenders in the region. So again, can you explain to me how Tipp is behind...

Please define "behind the curve." If the standard is state championships then sure, but Tipp is definitively achieving much more in football now than they were in the CBC or GWOC days. I get the MVL haters are just out in full force, but some are just stating complete lies.

Unfortunately it seems like the OHSAA is moving in the other direction, as they added more divisions to other sports this year. That, along with the somewhat recent expansion to 16 teams per region in the playoffs for football, and the OHSAA seems more concerned about handing out more trophies...
