No they won’t.Massillon will have to play an absolutely perfect game to come out on top
I’d go if we played in Georgia but I can’t imagine more than 1,000 Massillon fans would go down. Probably more like 500.
I would actually go up if it were in Georgia. LOL.I’d go if we played in Georgia but I can’t imagine more than 1,000 Massillon fans would go down. Probably more like 500.
There will be a ton of people show up who are not fans of either team. If I lived back in Ohio I’d be there for sure. When you put the two winningest teams in the USA on the same field it will draw interest from more fans than just the participants. I’d bet a large sum of money that there will be at least 16,000 in attendance and probably more.Always hanging….
16,884, doesn’t matter how many people come from Valdosta. Nobody said anything about it selling out or anything like that on here anyway.
You're right about casual fans showing up but don't bet too much. I'll say 12 - 14000 but hope you're right. There will be a ton of people show up who are not fans of either team. I think that there would be more than you think to go to Ga.I’d go if we played in Georgia but I can’t imagine more than 1,000 Massillon fans would go down. Probably more like 500.

No because this game is part of a Classic, not a contract with Massillon.Does anyone Know if this is a Home and Home series
Could always get Massillon to travel to Georgia for the Corky Kell Classic in 2024. Play at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. No because this game is part of a Classic, not a contract with Massillon.
The game is on a Friday night so the majority of “outside” fans will be at their game. I would think somewhere between 10-12k.There will be a ton of people show up who are not fans of either team. Hasn’t that always been just Georgia teams ?Could always get Massillon to travel to Georgia for the Corky Kell Classic in 2024. Play at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Nope. They've brought in outside teams from time to time. In 2021, North Gwinnett played Hoover from Alabama.Hasn’t that always been just Georgia teams ?
I’ve always thought the OHSAA has restrictions on how far a team can travel for out of state games. I can’t remember an Ohio HS traveling to Fla, or GA or CA.Hasn’t that always been just Georgia teams ?
They should have scheduled it for SaturdayThe game is on a Friday night so the majority of “outside” fans will be at their game. I would think somewhere between 10-12k.
The days of getting anymore then that at a regular season game are long gone, unless it’s Mass v mck or some game late in the season where both teams are undefeated and have big followings.
Not anymore they don’t as long as kids aren’t missing school because of it.I’ve always thought the OHSAA has restrictions on how far a team can travel for out of state games. I can’t remember an Ohio HS traveling to Fla, or GA or CA.
Didn't Ed's play Cocoa or Lakeland about a decade ago? Could be wrong thoughI’ve always thought the OHSAA has restrictions on how far a team can travel for out of state games. I can’t remember an Ohio HS traveling to Fla, or GA or CA.
Can’t miss school for travel to states that are not IN, KY, MI, PA or WV.I’ve always thought the OHSAA has restrictions on how far a team can travel for out of state games. I can’t remember an Ohio HS traveling to Fla, or GA or CA.
Terrible tackling is a pandemic that is going on at all levels of footballBe ready for a steady diet of quick screen, deep pass, QB run and false start penalties. Every game I attended this past year in the south, including playoff games. A lot of 13 second possessions with 21 yard punts. Nobody tackled and most games were 44-42 because of it.
Avon traveled to Disney Resort for a game recently, unfortunately there opponent canceled due to CovidI’ve always thought the OHSAA has restrictions on how far a team can travel for out of state games. I can’t remember an Ohio HS traveling to Fla, or GA or CA.
Cocoa and Chaminade Madonna both played Ed’s, in Ohio though.Didn't Ed's play Cocoa or Lakeland about a decade ago? Could be wrong though
